ANCIENT + BRAVE LAUNCHES THE UK’S FIRST VEGAN COLLAGEN POWDERS

The Collagyn Collection is the first UK supplement to provide five collagen specific aminos from vegan and fermented sources alongside vitamin C and essential vegan nutrients that can be hard to obtain from a plant-based diet.

Each of the new products includes a blend of plant proteins that are enhanced with collagen-specific amino acids and botanical extracts to help support normal collagen formation.

Speaking about the launch, food scientist and nutritionist Susie Debice said: "Collagen is built from 18-20 amino acids with over 30% being formed from just three key amino acids (glycine, proline and hydroxyproline). Up until now, most collagen-building supplements offer just vitamin C as the active ingredient or provide insufficient amounts of the three key aminos from non-vegan or synthesised sources."
